New Spring-y Project
Hey, stitches!
I decided to take a small break from the hats (more are coming, I just needed to rest), and move toward the warmer, greener months.
I’m currently crocheting (from a pattern, which I’ll link on the product page when finished) Sakura (cherry blossom) coasters. I’m excited to see the full set finished.
I LOVE cherry blossoms. It takes me back to when I was living in the Republic of Korea. I lived lakeside to Eunpa Lake in Gunsan City (stationed at Kunsan AB), and every spring I would make a point of walking to the common area/park for springtime celebrations and the local cherry blossom festival. I loved walking on the wooded path next to the cherry blossom tress after walking over the bridge mid-lake.
Heaven. Perfection.
This pic of the Eunpa Lake park is not mine, but I do have pics of my time there somewhere on an external hard drive. One of these days I might just pull them out and share.
